Hey everyone~! ๐โ๏ธ
Today we’re looking at one of the most commonly used Excel functions:
calculating averages using AVERAGE and AVERAGEIFS ๐
The AVERAGE function is super straightforward!
Or:
Example:
| 90 |
| 80 |
| 100 |
๐ Result: 90
(90 + 80 + 100) ÷ 3 = 90 ๐ฏ

When you want to average only values that meet certain conditions,
use AVERAGEIFS!
| A | 90 |
| B | 80 |
| A | 100 |
| C | 85 |
๐ Result: 95
(Scores 90 and 100 for "A" → average is 95)

| 2024-06-30 | 90 |
| 2024-07-01 | 80 |
| 2024-07-02 | 100 |
๐ Result: (80 + 100) ÷ 2 = 90

| A | 1 | 90 |
| B | 2 | 85 |
| A | 1 | 95 |
| A | 2 | 70 |
๐ Result: (90 + 95) ÷ 2 = 92.5

| AVERAGE | Simple average | โ No |
| AVERAGEIFS | Filtered average (with criteria) | โ Yes |
