๐Ÿ“Œ Today’s Route Overview
Hotel Sovereign → Wenceslas Square → Staromestka Restaurant → Old Town Square → Astronomical Clock Viewpoint → Charles Bridge → Lennon Wall → Prazska Cokolada → Nerudova Street → St. Nicholas Church Concert → Back to Charles Bridge → Bredovsky Dvur
A perfectly packed schedule covering all the key spots in Prague city center!
There was a lot of walking, but with such a beautiful city, we never got bored ๐Ÿšถ‍โ™€๏ธโœจ

โœˆ๏ธ Arrival in Prague & Transfer to City
Arrived at Prague Václav Havel International Airport!
The foreign air and Czech signs still felt unfamiliar,
but the excitement for this European trip began to slowly rise.

We used the AE (Airport Express) bus to reach the city.
It departs right in front of the airport and terminates at Prague’s main station (Hlavní nádraลพí).
From there, it was about a 10-minute walk to our hotel.
Watching the scenery pass by through the bus window was a quiet and special way to meet our first city ๐ŸšŒ๐ŸŒฟ

๐ŸŽซ Here’s what the ticket looked like!

๐Ÿจ Hotel Sovereign – Easy Check-in After Arrival
Arrived smoothly and checked in at our hotel, Hotel Sovereign!
The location was great and made getting around easy, but the breakfast was amazing. Seriously delicious...
Crispy croissants and savory Czech sausages made it super satisfying.
Breakfast photos will be shared in Day 2 :)

๐Ÿ›๏ธ Wenceslas Square – The Start of Prague
Just a 5-minute walk from the hotel is Wenceslas Square.
There weren’t many people, and the slightly cloudy sky gave it a calm, solemn mood.
It felt like I was gently settling into the rhythm of this city.

๐Ÿฝ๏ธ Lunch – Staromestka Restaurant
As we walked, hunger set in and we headed into Staromestka Restaurant.
Traditional Czech dishes were available, and the goulash with Czech beer was fantastic.
Taking our time while watching the street scenes outside made for a lovely moment.

โŒ› Old Town Square & Astronomical Clock Viewpoint
Old Town Square is truly the heart of Prague.
It was bustling with tourists and live performances.
We climbed the Astronomical Clock tower and got a spectacular panoramic view of the city.
We made sure to capture this moment on video too!

๐ŸŒ‰ Charles Bridge & Lennon Wall
We took a relaxed walk across the famous Charles Bridge to the Lennon Wall.
The sky was still overcast, but the vibe was undeniably Prague.
At the Lennon Wall, the colorful graffiti gave off a free-spirited, creative energy.

๐Ÿซ Prazska Cokolada & Nerudova Street
After the bridge, it was time for a sweet treat! We explored chocolates at Prazska Cokolada.
The handmade truffles were incredibly smooth and rich.
Walking along Nerudova Street, with its quaint shops and buildings,
we started to feel the proximity to Prague Castle.

๐ŸŽป St. Nicholas Church Concert
In the evening, we attended an organ concert at St. Nicholas Church we had reserved in advance.
The classical trio played under a grand baroque ceiling,
and it was such a soul-soothing way to end a busy day.

๐ŸŒ‡ Sunset at Charles Bridge
After the concert, we stepped outside to find…
the sky had cleared and began glowing orange.
Returning to Charles Bridge, we were greeted by a stunning sunset—the best moment of Prague.
I can’t describe it in words. It has to be shown in photos.

๐Ÿป Dinner – Bredovsky Dvur
We ended the day at Bredovsky Dvur.
With a slightly noisy, local vibe, the restaurant was perfect for reflecting on our day with a beer in hand.
I think we became just a bit closer to this unfamiliar city over that dinner.

๐Ÿ’ฌ Final Thoughts
The day started under a cloudy sky but ended with a glowing sunset.
We walked, listened, and tasted our way into a slow familiarity with this city.
For a first day of the trip, it couldn’t have been more perfect.
๐Ÿ“Next episode: Prague Castle & Monastery tales coming up :)
