🌀 Morning at Cafe Glockenspiel

We started the day with breakfast at Cafe Glockenspiel. The weather was perfect, and enjoying a meal outdoors made me feel like a true European. But there was one problem... bees! There were so many of them, we had to run inside. Even then, a few followed us in. 😭

🚢‍♀️ Exploring Getreidegasse & Red Bull Store

After breakfast, we strolled along the famous Getreidegasse. Since we’re F1 fans, we were thrilled to visit the official Red Bull store. We had fun browsing the cool merchandise and displays.

🌊 St. Gilgen & Lake Wolfgang

Next, we drove to St. Gilgen to see the stunning Lake Wolfgang. Honestly, I thought it was even more beautiful than Hallstatt. The reflections, the colors, the peacefulness—it was unforgettable.

πŸš— Arriving in Hallstatt & Exploring the Village

We parked and explored the lakeside and the charming village streets. Unfortunately, bees were a problem here too! Still, it didn’t stop us from enjoying the scenery—just made it a bit more of an adventure.

πŸ§‚ Souvenir Salt from the Info Center

Hallstatt is known for its salt, and we received a small packet of it as a gift from the tourist information center. It made for a cute little souvenir.

🧊 Dachstein Ice Cave Tour

Getting to the cave involves a steep uphill walk—definitely wear comfortable clothes! And although it’s warm outside, it gets very cold inside the cave. I brought a lightweight down jacket, and I was so glad I did.

🍷 Dinner at Restaurant Weinstube

This place may have been the most memorable dining experience of my trip. Honestly, the food was special, and the live music made it even more magical. It was one of those moments that made me feel, “Wow, I’m really in Europe.”
