Today was all about soaking in Venice’s beauty and ending the night with a touch of elegance in Verona.

We started the day by taking a train from Mestre Station and arrived at Santa Lucia Station,
and just stepping out of the station felt magical 🥹

🌉 Rialto Bridge – Venice’s Classic View

First stop: Rialto Bridge.
Crowds aside, the reflection of old buildings on the canals made for a beautiful scene.
We stood there just taking it in before grabbing our cameras. 📸

🎶 Caffè Florian – An Unexpected Arirang

At Caffè Florian, one of the oldest cafés in Europe,
we ordered coffee and just enjoyed the atmosphere.
Then... the pianist started playing Arirang, just for us 🇰🇷😭

He must’ve known we were Korean.
I was genuinely moved.
I really wanted to tip him, but I didn’t have any cash on me… That regret is real 😢

🏛️ St. Mark’s Square & Lunch at Taverna Scalinetto

We strolled through St. Mark’s Square, full of grandeur as always.
Afterward, we had lunch at Taverna Scalinetto,
a cozy spot with hearty, flavorful food and a local vibe 😋

⛪ San Giorgio Maggiore – Floating Marble Temple

We took a short boat ride to San Giorgio Maggiore Island.
From afar, the white church looked like it was floating on water.

The best part? Going up the bell tower for a panoramic view of Venice.
It was breathtaking.

Next, we wandered through Mercerie dell’Orologio,
Venice’s luxury shopping street.
We didn’t buy anything (lol), but it was fun just walking through 😎

🚤 Gondola Ride – The Must-Do Experience

A trip to Venice isn’t complete without a gondola ride!
The gliding motion, the curved canals,
the gondolier humming an Italian tune… everything felt like a movie 🎬

🚗 Off to Verona – The Night Chapter Begins

In the late afternoon, we hit the road and headed to Verona.
Arriving there felt like flipping to a new chapter—
quiet, stone-paved streets and soft lights welcoming us 🌃

🍽️ Casa Perbellini – Michelin-Starred Perfection

Dinner tonight? Casa Perbellini, a Michelin 2-star restaurant
run by a national treasure-level chef of Italy 🌟🌟

Every course was incredible, but the wine... oh my god.
It was so good I’ve been trying to find it in Korea, but no luck so far 😭
And to top it off, the chef himself came out and greeted us at the end.
That moment? Pure joy 💘

🌃 Castel San Pietro – Night View with a Tinge of Tension

After dinner, we hiked up to Castel San Pietro for the night view.
The panorama of Verona under the night sky was absolutely stunning...
but on the way, we saw a few sketchy people, which made us feel a bit uncomfortable 😟

Still, once we got to the top and saw the city lights shimmering—
it was totally worth it.
