I opened my eyes and looked out the window first thing in the morning.
Today is the day... into the Dolomites! ⛰️

🏰 Short but Sweet: A Stroll through Innsbruck

Before heading out, I had a quick morning walk through Innsbruck.
This small and cozy town looks even more beautiful bathed in the morning sunlight🌞
Snapped a photo in front of the Golden Roof, grabbed one last coffee, and got ready for the long adventure ahead☕

🚘 Crossing Borders: Arriving in Ortisei

After a few hours on the road, we finally arrived in Ortisei!
The scenery outside the car window slowly shifted from the Alps to the distinctive Dolomites vibe.
Even though it was my first time here, it felt oddly familiar and so peaceful💓

Ortisei is a quaint mountain village, and the cable car station is right there—full of hikers and travelers.

🚡 Ortisei → Furnes → Seceda

We took the first cable car from Ortisei to Furnes, then hopped onto another up to Seceda.

The higher we went, the more stunning the view became.
Endless meadows below, jagged peaks above...
I couldn’t look away. My heart was racing with excitement😳💨

At the top, I just stood there, frozen.
Sky and mountain blended perfectly, and silence wrapped everything like a soft blanket.
It was pure healing🍃

🍃 Alpe di Siusi & A Refreshing Break at Mont Seuc

After descending, we headed straight to Alpe di Siusi.
Walking across the vast green meadows was a dream🌿
Eventually, we arrived at Almgasthof Mont Seuc, a cozy restaurant with a stunning view.

I ordered a sandwich and a cocktail—simple, but incredibly satisfying.
Maybe it was the fresh mountain air, but every bite tasted twice as good 🥪🍹

⛪ Santa Maddalena Church – Like a Painting

Next stop: Santa Maddalena Church.
The church itself is pretty, but what really takes your breath away is the backdrop—
A quiet village, rolling fields, and those sharp Dolomite peaks in the distance...
Like something straight out of a postcard📬

We arrived just before sunset, and the golden light painted the mountains in the softest colors.
It’s a scene I’ll remember forever🌄

🍝 Dinner at Snetonstube – Comfort Food, Local Style

Back in Ortisei, we had dinner at a local restaurant called Snetonstube.
Pasta, lamb chops, and a chocolate muffin for dessert—everything was spot on😋
Not touristy at all, just a nice quiet place with really good food.

Finally, we checked in at Hotel Rodes.
As soon as I laid down, I could feel the day’s tiredness melt away💤
The room was warm, the view was peaceful—exactly what I needed.

🌙 End of Day, But the Magic Lingers

Today was my first time in the Dolomites,
and I couldn’t stop staring at the scenery all day.
Breathing, walking, gasping at every view…

Tired? Yes.
Fulfilled? So, so much.
Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings🫶
